Sri Lanka: Former Mayor of Jaffna passes away

Mr. Sinnathamby Nagarajah, who served as Mayor of Jaffna twice in the late 60?s, passed away in New Jersey, USA, on Thursday May 5th at the age of 77. Mr. Nagarajah was a Tamil nationalist, and an active member of the Tamil diaspora in lobbying for political support for Tamil struggle for self determination in the U.S.

I thank you for the published news about the demise of former mayor of Jaffna Nagarajah . I am his niece and on behlaf of the family I would like to thank the media for honouring him
