Two Muslim villagers were shot dead by unidentified armed persons Wednesday night around 7.30 p.m. when they were traveling in a tractor to cut firewood in the nearby jungle in Nilaave'li which is located along Trincomalee-Pulmoaddai road, about 16 km of north of east port city. Four other Muslim villagers were seriously injured in this incident, according to Kuchchave'li police.
